Press Brake Operator

Job Title: Press Brake Setup/Operator Location: Rochester, NY Pay Rate: $18.00 - $24.00/hour, based on experience Shift: 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITYSummary: Nesco Resource is seeking an experienced Press Brake Setup/Operator to join a growing sheet metal fabrication team. This role involves setting up and operating both CNC and mechanical press brakes using coining and air form tooling. The ideal candidate will be quality-focused, efficient, and capable of working to production standards while maintaining high workmanship standards. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC and mechanical press brakes Install and adjust coining and air form tooling Form sheet metal parts ranging from .020 " to .375 " thick (steel, stainless, aluminum) Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Use inspection tools to verify part quality and document results Maintain production rates while ensuring high-quality output Perform light packing duties as needed Support other fabrication processes when workload requires Adhere to QMS and safety standards Qualifications: 3-5 years of press brake setup experience required Ability to read and interpret blueprints Experience working with various sheet metal materials Comfortable standing for full shifts and lifting metal parts Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to read, write, and speak English Additional sheet metal fabrication experience (punch press, spot weld, Pem, etc.) is a plus Benefits: 40 hours PTO in Year 1; 80 hours PTO in Year 2 8 Paid Holidays annually Monthly health care contribution 401K Match: 100% on first 3%, 50% on next 2% Company-paid life insurance Dental, Short/Long Term Disability, and HSA available Safety glasses and safety shoe program Tuition reimbursement program Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
