Title: Recruiter Reporting to: Talent Acquisition Manager Candidate will have a Hybrid schedule if located near RLB OfficeOverview of Role The Recruiter plays a pivotal role in advancing the company's mission by strategically attracting, selecting, and hiring top-tier technical talent for the construction consulting industry, including sectors such as data centers, aviation, healthcare, and hospitality. As a key member of the team, the Senior Recruiter leverages diverse channels - including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals to source and attract candidates. Essential Functions • Manage day-to-day full cycle recruitment process in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), UKG, for assigned requisitions/region. • Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, and employees. Determines applicant requirements by studying the job description and job qualifications. • Proactively source and engage talent through job boards like LinkedIn, while strategically building and maintaining a pipeline of passive candidates. • Partners with hiring manager to determine staffing needs. • Along with the Head of HR, works with the immigration attorney to assess candidate work authorization status, advise managers on visa-related considerations, & smoothly transition intercompany and visa status candidates to long-term visa status. • Screens all resumes, interview candidates (by video conference, telephone, or in person), administer appropriate assessments, reference/background checking, make recommendations for hire (or not hire), and deliver employment offers for both exempt and non-exempt position openings. • Delivers only qualified candidates to the hiring manager after the screening process is complete. • Uses traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc. • Develops advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates. • Manages internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interview with hiring manager, transfer offer letter, etc. • Follow up in a timely manner with candidates and hiring managers to ensure updated information on the interview process status. • Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with hiring managers to effectively place staff. • Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (i.e., benefits, compensation, non-competition agreements, etc.). • Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including EEOC compliance. • Assists in the onboarding process to ensure a successful integration into RLB's culture. • Manages application/resume file and retention per company policy. • Maintains memberships and affiliations with trade/professional organizations related to the industry. • Contributes to team performance through collaboration and effective communication. • Adds to team effort by accomplishing other duties as assigned.The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive, proactive approach to the role and will be committed to delivering customer service excellence. • Minimum Education required: Bachelor's Degree in Business, HR, Management, or related experience. • Minimum Experience required: 3-5 years of recruiting in the AEC industry • Skills Required: Excellent oral and written communication skills; phone skills, recruiting, interviewing skills, people skills, supports diversity, employment law, results-driven, professionalism, and good judgment. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: • Indoor office environment. May require work on site location when necessary. • Equipment used includes: computers and standard office machines. • Essential physical tasks include: the ability to work on a computer and the ability to answer and speak on a telephone.
