Key activities include process monitoring, minor maintenance, troubleshooting, and process improvement.Key Responsibilities Operate, monitor, and maintain extrusion equipment.Adjust controls to achieve specified product dimensions.Assist with changeovers on extrusion machines based on production line requirements.Measure and inspect extruded products for defects and adjust as needed.Record machine operating conditions and product measurements.Package finished product and move to staging areas for quality inspection.Maintain cleanliness of work areas and manage material boxes (color/regrind).Perform minor maintenance and troubleshooting.Report major process changes to Foreman and/or Assistant Foreman.Work 12-hour shifts, including weekends, as required.Support collaboration across facility departments.Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Excellent communication skills.Reading, writing, and basic math skills related to production work.Ability to use and interpret precision instruments, tools, and machinery.Physically capable of performing job tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.Good organizational skills, with ability to prioritize and multi-task.Strong commitment to safety in a production environment.Adherence to company Quality Policy.Proficient in English to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and reports, and to communicate effectively with colleagues.
