Manufacturing Systems & Process Support Specialist Role: This role serves as a critical link between the shop floor and engineering, ensuring that digital systems and production documentation remain accurate and optimized. You will act as the first line of defense for the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and provide essential support for process validation. Manufacturing Systems & Process Support Specialist Responsibilities: Serve as the daily super user for the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to monitor and optimize shop floor performance Provide the first line of defense for system troubleshooting to reduce the daily burden on the production scheduler Communicate directly with software vendors and external IT groups to resolve equipment and system issues Offer on-site technical support for basic hardware and software needs to assist less tech-savvy users Collaborate with the manufacturing manager to observe processes and update procedural documentation in real-time Capture high-quality photos and videos of molding and assembly workflows for digital work instructions Coordinate with the remote engineering department to validate instruction accuracy and redistribute updates to the floor Support new product launches by conducting part measurements and documenting results from engineering trials Conduct recurring audits of work instructions to ensure documentation is usable and complete across all shifts Manufacturing Systems & Process Support Specialist Reporting Relationships: This position works directly with the Manufacturing Manager and supports the Production Scheduler. It does not have any direct reports. About You: Possess strong computer literacy and the ability to learn new software systems quickly Demonstrate high organization and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with speed and accuracy Communicate effectively with operators, supervisors, and engineering teams Exhibit a high level of comfort working on a production floor to observe and document processes Maintain a proactive and self-motivated approach to troubleshooting and independent work Display a detail-oriented mindset when validating part measurements and documentation Next Steps: If you are detail-oriented and a proactive problem solver, we would like to hear from you.
