Plumber Job ID 261011 Posted 17-Feb-2026 Service line GWS Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Engineering/Maintenance Location(s) Fairfield - Ohio - United States of America About the Role: As a CBRE Plumber, you will play a key role in supporting our healthcare client by ensuring the sage and reliable operation of facility plumbing and mechanical systems. This full-time positions follows a Monday-Friday 7:00A - 3:30P scheduled, with participation in an on-call rotation. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, repairs, testing, installation, and troubleshooting across a variety of plumbing, mechanical, and distribution systems throughout the facility. Your work directly contributes to maintaining a safe, compliant, and fully functional environment for patients, staff, and visitors. What You’ll Do: Repair, install, replace, test, and troubleshoot the water and medical gas supply and distribution system. Install new water systems, piping, and fixtures by blueprints, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes. Ensure waste and vent lines are in good operating condition using a plumber’s snake, vacuum plunger, or jet washer. Assist other staff members or contractors on projects or equipment installations. Complete plumbing safety inspections on backflow devices. Provide training to other staff members so they can perform light plumbing maintenance and repair. Perform general maintenance and building systems operational duties as assigned or directed. Respond to emergency situations, summoning extra help as needed. Follow all activity policies and procedures, always including all HSE-related requirements. Complete all HSE programs & activities as required, including incident investigations, interviews, auditing, and assessment, etc. Report any conditions that could result in an accident or injury to management. What You’ll Need: High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Plumbing certification at the Journeyman level required. Medical Gas certification and Backflow certification preferred. Valid Driver’s License required. Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information. Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset. Why CBRE? The minimum salary for the Plumber position is $31.25 per hour and the maximum salary for the Plumber position is $32.69 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
