Job Summary: The individual will oversee and direct all aspects of production and inventory operations within a designated area, ensuring efficient and timely completion of manufacturing processes while maintaining high quality standards and maximizing productivity. Major Responsibilities/Activities:Develops and implements production schedules, monitors progress, and adjusts plans as needed to meet deadlines and optimize resource utilization. Leads and motivates a team of production workers, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback. Ensures adherence to quality standards and procedures, conducts inspections, and investigates and resolves quality issues Oversees the warehouse management process to ensure procedures are adhered to. Identifies ways to reduce completion times of annual inventory initiatives. Maintains a safe and compliant work environment by enforcing safety regulations, conducting safety training, and investigating accidents. Oversees the maintenance and repair of production equipment, ensuring proper functioning and minimizing downtime. Monitors inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to ensure adequate supply and minimize waste. Identifies opportunities for process improvement, implements lean manufacturing principles, and drives 5S initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Effectively communicates with other departments (e.g., engineering, quality control, maintenance) to ensure smooth production flow and address any challenges. Act as backup for supervisor in other areas Minimum Requirements:Proven experience as a Production Supervisor, or similar role. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and inventory control principles. Proficiency in using relevant software (e.g., ERP systems (preferably SAP, office suite). Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Commitment to safety and quality.
