Position: Fire Sprinkler Foreman Duration: Full Time Location: 3900 31St Street N. Job Details: Fire pump knowledge, including: Pump types (electric, diesel, vertical turbine) Troubleshooting pump performance issues Understanding controllers, jockey pumps, and pump curves Ability to read and interpret plans, shop drawings, Ability to travel to job sites in FL, GA, NC, SC, AL, and Puerto Rico Strong installation skills for wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and standpipe systems. Understanding of system acceptance testing, inspections, Crew management: assigning tasks, maintaining productivity, mentoring apprentices. Scheduling and coordination with GCs, other trades, inspectors, and project managers. Quality control: ensuring installations meet code, Conflict resolution: handling job-site issues without slowing the project. Understanding of NFPA standards, especially NFPA 13, and 25 is a Big Plus. OSHA knowledge and ability to enforce safe work practices. Tools & Equipment Proficiency Threading machines, groovers, fusion tools, lifts, and rigging. Documentation & Communication Daily reports, material lists, change orders, and RFI creation. Keeping accurate as-built information. Professional Traits Reliability and strong work ethic. Ability to train and develop apprentices. Problem-solving mindset—especially under pressure. Confidence in making field decisions while knowing when to escalate issues.
