Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions that target language, communication, fluency, voice, and swallowing issues. Collaborate closely with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop cohesive and effective care strategies. Provide educational resources to families and patients to aid progress between therapy sessions. Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless care continuity. Maintain precise and timely documentation that adheres to all state, federal, and organizational guidelines. Stay informed about advancements in the field through ongoing education and professional collaboration. Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
