Strivector's premier client (a well-known market leader in their space) is hiring for the following full-time direct hire position. POSITION OVERVIEW As a Sr. Specialist Project Engineer your roles and responsibilities will include: Act as Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) for one or more missile or propulsion programs: PAC-3, Mk 72, Mk 104, ATACMS, GMLRS, Javelin, MIR, Stinger, GEM-T Real-time non-conformance dispositioning (repair, rework, scrap, UAI) Lead root cause and corrective actions (RCCA); support systemic learning Perform yield improvement, process optimization, and production risk mitigation Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Design, Manufacturing, Product Mgmt.) Use engineering tools to support manufacturing, design integration, and performance. QUALIFICATIONS Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Sr. Specialist Project Engineer who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Sr. Specialist Project Engineer would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following: Bachelor's + 9+ years (or Master's + 7+ years) in project/manufacturing engineering Or 13+ years of experience in lieu of a degree. Experience with non-conformance analysis, root cause investigation, and production troubleshooting. Strong understanding of rocket propulsion systems, DFMEA, PFMEA, MRB processes. Must Have: Hands-on manufacturing engineering or project engineering background in aerospace, missiles, or defense. Experience working with WIP non-conformances and process documentation. Familiarity with TDP, KC updates, MRL, AOP support. Experience representing engineering at the Material Review Board (MRB). Capability to operate across design, quality, test, and production. Technical Skills: Proficient in CAD, GD&T, material science, engineering analysis, and Microsoft Office Suite; Six Sigma certification is a plus.
