Administrative Assistant Shawnee, KS | Fully Onsite Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire| $20ph. LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a client who is looking for a reliable and organized Administrative Assistant to support our daily operations. This role is the hub of the office-assisting with dispatching technicians to customer sites, placing and tracking orders, managing inventory, and serving as the first point of contact for customers, vendors, and visitors. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Dispatch & Customer Support • Coordinate and dispatch technicians to customer locations based on schedules, priorities, and availability • Communicate with customers regarding service timing, updates, and basic inquiries • Answer incoming calls and emails, routing requests appropriately and ensuring timely followup Orders & Inventory • Place purchase orders for parts, supplies, and materials as needed • Track incoming orders and follow up with vendors on deliveries or discrepancies • Maintain inventory records and assist with counts, restocking, and basic reporting Office & Front Desk Support • Greet visitors, customers, drivers, and vendors in a friendly and professional manner • Sort and distribute mail and packages; prepare outgoing mail and shipments • Maintain organized office and common areas; ensure supplies are stocked and ordered Administrative Duties • Provide general administrative support including data entry, filing, and document organization • Assist operations and leadership with basic reporting and coordination tasks • Support other office and operations need as they arise in a smallteam environment QUALIFICATIONS: • 2+ years of experience in an administrative assistant, office assistant, or coordinator role • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers, technicians, and vendors • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fastpaced, handson environment • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) • Experience in manufacturing, service, warehouse, or industrial environment • Prior experience with dispatching, scheduling, inventory, or ordering • Familiarity with ERP, inventory, or ordertracking systems Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour Search managed by: Claire Grossman Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
