We are looking for retired nurses to help enrich our patient experience by serving as a floor ambassador on one of our inpatient floors. Your assignment will be to round on patients for their comfort as a volunteer to not only help to reduce the risk of social isolation, but to serve as a liaison between our PCTs, nursing staff and other staff on the floor to help maintain positive communication and enhance the patient experience. Assist patients and families by providing an additional presence they can talk to, create lasting relationships with our staff and report back to patient experience leaders on areas of improvement.
