MANUFACTURING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS: The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician will be responsible for interpreting complex blueprints and schematics while utilizing specialized software like CAD, SAP, and Minitab to ensure equipment efficiency and project success. This role acts as a critical link between hands-on maintenance and technical documentation to maintain seamless production operations. This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needsBenefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insuranceA 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates MANUFACTURING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN | RESPONSIBILITIES: Technical Services: Perform mechanical design and maintenance tasks using approved engineering principles.Documentation & Design: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and part drawings to ensure equipment is functioning at peak efficiency.System Utilization: Use software including SAP, CAD, MS Project, and Visio, alongside standard Microsoft Office and Minitab for data and project tracking.Project Support: Assist in manufacturing projects, ensuring technical milestones are met through effective verbal and written communication. MANUFACTURING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN | REQUIREMENTS: Education: Two-year degree in Applied Technical Sciences or an equivalent degree from a vocational or technical college.Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.1+ year of experience in a manufacturing environment or project management.Technical Skills: Proficiency in PC applications and familiarity with CAD and schematics.Physical & Safety: Steel-toe shoes are required on the production floor.Eye Exam: Must pass a vision test (20/30 vision with or without corrective lenses) and/or a color vision exam prior to starting.
