The largest device company in the world - with complementary businesses in Surgical and Vision CareQuality Inspection TechnicianLocation: Fort Worth, TX (Onsite)Duration: 12 months (with possible extension/conversion)Schedule: M-F 9am -5:30pmSummary:Responsible for inspecting purchased parts and materials to ensure they meet engineering specifications and quality standards within a medical device manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities: Inspect incoming parts, assemblies, and materials to AQL standards Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications (GD&T) Identify defects, damage, or nonconformance Verify quantities and part numbers against purchase documentation Perform First Article Inspections Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent 1+ year of inspection, quality, or manufacturing experience (medical device preferred) Experience with First Article Inspections Ability to read, write, and communicate in English Steel-toe shoes required (not provided); safety glasses provided This job description is a complete list of all desired skills but not all are required.
