You'll support the development and optimization of surfactant synthesis and related molecular biology techniques to ensure high-quality product output.Job Title: Organic ChemistLocation: Fully Onsite (Bay Area)Type: 6-month Contract (with potential for extension)Pay Rate: $28-$32/hrStart Date: Late June or July (flexible for the right candidate)Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (start time flexible)Key Responsibilities: Perform organic synthesis (e.g., acyl chloride reactions, PEG addition, distillation) for surfactant production Optimize R&D processes and troubleshoot synthesis workflows Support molecular biology projects (PCR, gene cloning, DNA/RNA manipulation) Operate analytical lab equipment (pH/conductivity meters, Qubit, NanoDrop, BioAnalyzer, GPC/SEC) Maintain detailed lab records and collaborate across teams Requirements: BS/MS in Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field 1-2 years' lab experience (academic or industry) Familiar with emulsion chemistry and PCR Strong attention to detail, motivated, and self-directed Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Google Suite Experience in GMP or regulated environments INDBHWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
