CDL Driver - Job Responsibilities As a Local Route Garbage Truck Driver , you will be responsible for operating heavy-duty trucks safely and efficiently to support residential and commercial waste collection. Daily responsibilities include: Safely operating a garbage truck on designated routes to collect solid waste Reading and following route sheets and servicing customers as scheduled Performing pre- and post-trip inspections (check fluids, equipment, tires, safety components) Maintaining professional and courteous interactions with customers Completing other related duties as assigned This position is ideal for drivers who value consistent local routes , steady hours , and a team-oriented environment . ? What We Need From You Valid Class A or Class B CDL or willingness to obtain your CDL Clean driving record Minimum 1 year of local route or commercial driving experience ??
