PsyPhyCare, a division of Business Staffing of America, Inc., is seeking to contract with a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care services for a healthcare facility located in Elgin, ND.This role is designed for nursing professionals committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care in a clinical environment. Housing, transportation, and travel support may be provided depending on assignment structure and facility needs.The Registered Nurse will administer direct patient care, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure adherence to facility protocols and regulatory standards.LOCATIONThe clinician will support a hospital, clinic, or care-center setting serving a diverse patient population with varying acuity levels.This assignment is based onsite in Elgin, ND. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE Full-time schedule depending on facility needs. Rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holiday coverage may be required. Specific weekly hours will be discussed during screening and onboarding. ROLES / RESPONSIBILITIESThe Registered Nurse will perform duties including, but not limited to: Provide direct patient care in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans. Administer medications, treatments, and interventions safely and accurately. Monitor patient conditions, interpret clinical data, and document findings in the EMR. Coordinate care with physicians, advanced providers, therapists, social workers, and other staff. Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care. Maintain compliance with infection-control, safety, and quality standards. Respond promptly to emergency situations and perform life-saving interventions as needed. Prepare, update, and maintain accurate clinical records and documentation. Participate in required trainings, competency assessments, and continuing education. Support teamwork, patient advocacy, and professional nursing conduct at all times. QUALIFICATIONS Education & Experience Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required). Clinical experience preferred; new graduates may be considered depending on facility needs. Licensure & Certifications Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state. Current BLS certification (required). ACLS, PALS, or other specialty certifications (preferred depending on unit). Skills & Competencies Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking abilities. Proficiency in EMR systems and clinical documentation. Excellent communication and patient-interaction skills. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced or high-acuity settings. Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and patient-centered care values. WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 25-bed critical access hospital serving a town of ~550 people and surrounding communities. Ability to stand, walk, and provide patient care for extended periods. May require lifting, transferring, or repositioning patients. Exposure to infectious diseases and clinical hazards mitigated by PPE and safety protocols. Must comply with all facility patient-safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
