A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity:CT Technologist - CT Tech Job Details:• Work Monday and Friday 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM schedule• 40 hours per week guaranteed• Perform general diagnostic, portable, bedside, and Computed Tomography (CT) exams• Work independently without constant supervision• At least three years of imaging experience required with CT experience mandatory• Current Washington State DOH Certified Radiologic Technologist license required• ARRT (R) registration required• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required• Operate radiographic and computed tomography equipment within department• Utilize portable and C-Arm equipment in hospital and operating room settings• Follow ALARA principles to maintain lowest radiation doses possible• Perform patient positioning and technical factor selection based on anatomy and physiology• Draw contrast media and prepare IV solutions using sterile technique• Review images for quality and positioning, repeating studies when necessary• Maintain patient confidentiality according to HIPAA guidelines• Document exam procedures and communicate with radiologists and referring providers• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities• Report equipment malfunctions and maintain safety standards Facility:This healthcare facility provides comprehensive medical services including advanced diagnostic imaging capabilities.
