Overview UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Observation Unit. This role is ideal for a strong Med-Surg leader who is passionate about team development, patient outcomes, and operational excellence. ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day operations of the Observation Unit Coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing nursing team Drive quality, safety, patient experience, and compliance Manage staffing, resources, and performance outcomes Partner with physicians and leaders to support continuous improvement Serve as a change leader for unit initiatives QualificationsRequired Qualifications Florida RN license (current) Bachelor's Degree in Nursing 2+ years of nursing practice experience Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Maintains/exceeds specialty educational requirements Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree 3-5 years hospital leadership experience 3-5 years Medical-Surgical leadership experience BLS/ACLS
