Job Description

The Treasury Specialist works closely with Treasury, Accounting, Operations, and Legal to support timely cash collection, reduction of credit risk, and maintenance of liquidity across construction operations. This position supports the Company's Treasury and working capital objectives through participation in collections and credit coordination activities, lien administration support, and selected cash management and cash forecasting processes. The role is intended for an early-career professional (entry level through approximately three years of experience) and provides foundational exposure to construction-industry credit processes, lien management practices, and core treasury operations. The Treasury Specialist performs transactional, analytical, and administrative tasks under supervision while developing a working knowledge of Treasury policies, systems, and controls. This role provides a developmental pathway toward more advanced treasury, credit, or finance roles within the organization. Responsibilities may evolve over time based on business needs and the individual's demonstrated capabilities. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIESCollections & Credit Support Supports the Company's credit and collections process for customer accounts. Monitors accounts receivable aging reports and assists with customer follow-up on outstanding balances. Escalates delinquent or high-risk customer accounts to Treasury or management as appropriate. Assists with the review and processing of customer & vendor credit applications and required documentation. Maintains accurate and organized credit files, customer & vendor records, and supporting documentation. Interfaces with project teams to resolve billing questions, documentation gaps, and payment disputes. Lien & Documentation Support Assists with preparation, submission, and tracking of lien-related documentation, including preliminary notices and lien waivers, in accordance with state-specific requirements. Maintains lien tracking schedules and organized lien records in lien management systems. Coordinates lien information with project teams, Accounting, and Legal as needed. Supports lien release processing once payment thresholds are met. Cash Management & Forecasting Support Assists Treasury with daily and weekly cash activity tracking. Supports short-term cash forecasting by gathering inputs, maintaining schedules, and reconciling variances. Assists with cash receipts monitoring and identifies trends or issues that may impact near-term cash collection. Provides administrative and analytical support related to cash reporting and liquidity schedules. Finance & Accounting Operations Support Assists with basic banking and treasury system activities under supervision. Supports the research and resolution of bank or payment-related issues. Assists with ad hoc treasury analysis and reporting projects. Follows established internal controls, treasury policies, and documentation standards. Maintains confidentiality of all Company financial and proprietary information. Supports audit requests by compiling schedules or documentation as directed. Performs other related administrative and technical duties as assigned by Finance & Accounting management. EMPLOYEE SAFETY AND COMPLIANCEResponsible for personal safety and the safety of others. POSITION REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered. 0--3 years of experience in collections, credit, accounts receivable, treasury support, or related financial operations; construction or project-based industry experience is a plus. Basic understanding of accounts receivable, credit processes, or lien requirements preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn Treasury concepts and systems. Ability to handle multiple tasks, follow established processes, and meet deadlines. High degree of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
