Summary The Financial Analyst, FP&A is responsible for report creation to support Leadership and the Sales team with analytics for financial forecasts, collaborate on revenue and margin initiatives, and support the rebate process. Several different processes will be supported in this role that impact cross functional departments. The position will also manage and maintain various Cognos and Tableau reports used to track and forecast KPI's for the Sales team and other departments as required. Responsibilities Support the day-to-day analytical requests, including customer rebates of the Sales and Finance departments; provide and measure status for strategic Initiatives. Utilize database tools and Excel, Cognos, Tableau to identify and effectively communicate key metrics to senior management. Propose projects to achieve cost/quality/service objectives based on data analysis. Create and track various processes impacting sales including communication to the teams. Support the sales organization with reporting and adhocs to understand the business. Collaborate effectively with various departments throughout D&H to establish partnerships and bridge the gap between Finance and Operations. Provide ongoing monitoring/reporting on critical projects to the exec. team as necessary. Demonstrate a desire to learn about the distribution industry, warehouse operations, transportation, and supply chain logistics. Requirements Bachelor's Degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university; a Major in Engineering, Finance, Logistics, Mathematics/Quantitative Business Analysis, or Supply Chain is recommended but not required. Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, & Power Point is required. Prior experience or knowledge in business intelligence systems (Cognos, Hyperion, etc) a plus. EOE
