Cardiac Stepdown RN Job Details Location: Portsmouth, NH 03801 (New Hampshire nursing jobs) Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 1/12/2026 – End: 4/13/2026) Healthcare Setting: Cardiac Stepdown / Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Shift: 8 Hour Days (6:00 AM – 3:00 PM) Hours per Week: 40 Estimated Weekly Pay: $2280 - $2450 Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment Open Positions: 2 Cardiac Stepdown RN roles Call Requirement: Approx. one weekend per month and 2-3 days per week Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (NH or compact state) At least 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac, Vascular, or Thoracic Operating Room (OR) nursing Ability to respond to on-call requirements within 30 minutes Strong teamwork, flexibility, and punctuality Self-motivated and collaborative healthcare professional Preferred: Scrub experience in Cardiac and Vascular cases Preferred: Experience with Meditech EMR Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in Cardiac Stepdown and CVOR units Work collaboratively with RNs, Scrub Techs, and Anesthesia Techs Assist with and scrub for cardiovascular procedures: CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, EVAR, TEVAR, carotid endarterectomy, fistula creation/interventions, VATS, thoracotomy, fem-pop bypass, angiograms with interventions, LVAD, RVAD, and ECMO Support Level 2 trauma coverage for vascular and thoracic procedures Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Meditech EMR Participate in scheduled on-call rotation Comply with unit policies and dress code (scrubs provided) Join our healthcare team in Portsmouth, NH, where many nursing professionals have worked together for nearly 20 years.
