Casual positions are part-time/temporary positions that are hired for a specific period of time. These positions provide technical, clerical, or other general support to faculty and staff of Gateway Technical College. Casual hires are under the supervision of the department and/or area that has hired them. Positions in recruitment: Respiratory Therapy Casual RESPONSIBILITIESAbility to work the required hours for the position. Shift times may range in time starting as early as 6:30 am and up to 9:00 pm in the evening. The labs are open Monday thru Saturday. Each department/area will require specific skills and abilities. It is the responsibility of the employee to review and discuss the requirements of the position for which they are applying. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THE POSITIONWI RT Licence and National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) RRT Credential At least one year of critical care experience. Each department/area may have conditions specific to its position. Employees are expected to review requirements of each position and supply required or needed documents, credentials, or exams to their supervisor. SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.
