Pharmacist Kootenai Health is Expanding! Now Hiring: Join Our Retail Pharmacy Team! About the Position - posting for future positions Position Titles: Retail Pharmacist (Full-Time positions) Location: Kootenai Health Retail Pharmacy - Coeur d'Alene, Hayden or Post Falls Application Deadline: Positions posted until filled Start Date: As Soon As Possible About Our Pharmacy We specialize in serving our community with fast, friendly, professional service, and the highest-quality medicines and health products. Our expert staff takes pride in helping you manage your prescription regime by providing medications synchronization, automatic refills, and weekly Medisets filled by a pharmacist to aid in medication compliance. When you cannot make it here, we also offer delivery service from the pharmacy each weekday. Our pharmacists will take the time to explain your medication and answer your questions. AND.....we're expanding our team! Responsibilities: Responsible for the full scope of pharmacy services in practice area. As a professional pharmacist, takes personal responsibility for competency in all areas of care delivery related to pharmacy practice area. Reviews medication orders and medication dosing Consults with patients and members of the healthcare team Oversees pharmacy interns and pharmacy technicians and their work products Completes additional project and/or committee work related to practice area Precepts pharmacy students and/or residents Performs a variety of tasks Performs other related duties as assigned Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function Requirements and Minimum Qualifications: Doctor of Pharmacy OR a Bachelor's degree with hospital experience preferred Must be licensed and/or License eligible in the state of Idaho. Licensure must be obtained within 60 days of date of hire.
