About the Position:As a Business Development lead, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and supporting the capture of new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and optimizing our existing processes and tools to maximize revenue. This role will train and mentor Rockwood associates in business development practices, equipping them to effectively leverage tools and resources to drive measurable outcomes.Responsibilities may include: Execute duties at the direction of the CEO, Director of Growth and Operations Team.Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential growth opportunities.Analyze data to assess market demand, customer behavior, and sales performance, and provide actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making.Equip our consulting workforce with the tools, templates and training needed to enable their successful participation and contribution in business development efforts.Identify and evaluate potential business partnerships, joint ventures, and acquisition opportunities, and lead negotiations to secure favorable terms.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, industry influencers, and potential clients to expand our network and drive business growth.Prepare and present comprehensive reports, presentations, and recommendations to senior management to support strategic planning and investment decisions.Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes to anticipate challenges and capitalize on opportunities for growth. Your salary may vary within this range depending on a wide range of factors, including (but not limited to) your qualifications, skills, experience, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.To support merit-based compensation growth, Rockwood typically does not hire candidates at or near the top of the stated salary range for a role.
