Mechanical Project Manager

This is a 1 year contract job bill rate up to 70hr. needs to interview and start this week. Curtiss-Wright- Arlington Heights Must be local to interview onsite. Mechanical Project Manager Who will you be interviewing with: Curtiss-Wright - Project Manager The Project Manager will be overseeing a move from Portland to the Arlington Heights, IL facility. This will include planning, breaking down of manufacturing cells, documentation of all associated processes, shipping the cells, building them up, and then validation of the equipment. This PM will manage the movement of over 10 manufacturing cells - pilot builds, testing PPAP's that happen as well - organizing, monitoring, and modifying the setup for the new cells in Arlington Heights. Job Description and Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field Minimum of 10 years' Project Management or Project Leadership experience from concept to realization (large-scale, multi-million dollar projects) Manufactured large-scale, rolling action capex projects from start to finish Experience communicating to high-end stakeholders (COO looking for status updates) Hands-on experience with manufacturing and production capabilities Customer-focus mindset with strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills Superior planning and organization skills; ability to operate under pressure and meet deadlines Preferred industries of automotive, power tools, or healthcare Knowledge of Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques in the automobile or commercial vehicle industry, preferred Microsoft Project experience and efficiency Knowledge of Quality Systems a plus (e.g. TS 16949, ISO9001, AS9100, etc.) Travel requirement - may travel 2-3 times throughout the next 12months of assignment (1 week at most!)
