Responsibilities include assisting with the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), supporting students with hygiene, medical, and personal care needs, helping with behavior management and crisis intervention plans, and maintaining confidentiality of student records and classroom information. Qualifications/Degree: High School Diploma/GED Previous experience working with children preferred 2-year degree or a passing score on the Para Pro test preferred Special Job Requirements: Position requires the ability to run, bend, stoop, kneel, work on feet, lift up to 40 lbs Position involves listening, speaking clearly, and visual acuity Position requires knowledge of basic academic subjects/basic developmental activities Beginning Salary Range: Rate of pay starting at $17.25 per hour.
