Therapy/Rehabilitation/SLP Outpatient

Title: Speech Language Pathologist - Outpatient / Acute Care Location: Syracuse, NY Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30) Job Responsibilities and Required/Preferred Skills: Provide speech-language pathology services in outpatient and acute care hospital settings, including fast-paced trauma center experience. Perform evaluations, treatment, and management of patients per clinical standards. Float to other areas of the facility as needed. Work one weekend every other month. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Required Skills and Certifications: CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology). Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. NYS licensure in Speech-Language Pathology. Completion of clinical fellowship year. Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital experience (preferably Level I or II trauma center). IV therapy experience and ability to read telemetry strips. Preferred Skills: Experience in outpatient rehabilitation. Familiarity with Epic charting system. Teaching hospital experience. Work Environment: Adult outpatient and acute care settings within a hospital. High-paced trauma center requiring quick clinical decision-making.
