Primary Purpose of the Role: Perform all facets of maintenance, repair, installation and modification to Company equipment, buildings and grounds. Essential Functions: Performs grade or product changeovers on machine centers, which includes Flexographic Printing Presses, Converting Folders, Formers, various types of packaging equipment and conveyor systems. Effectively diagnoses, adjusts, and repairs a variety of mechanical, electrical, power transmission, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. Performs preventive maintenance functions on all equipment and facilities adhering to published PM schedules. Assists in updating and accurately maintaining computer tracking for preventive maintenance, work order system, labor tracking, spare parts, and general maintenance. Ability to lead maintenance projects from beginning to end. Must follow GMP and SQF guidelines and report any food safety issues to your supervisor. Foster a positive work environment. Ability to train and support employees as needed. Diagnostic & Measurement Tools Lathe Grinders and Sanders Metal cut-off saw Band saw Power Transmission Equip. Job Specifications: Score of 50-68 on the Ramsey Main Test and/or 5 years of related experience Three to five years' experience in performing industrial or manufacturing maintenance and/or an Associate's degree (A. A.) Electro/Mechanical, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Robotics preferred but not required Ability to demonstrate fabrication, machining, and ability to upgrade a machine mechanically Proficient with a variety of shop tools, processes, and related diagnostic/measuring devices for common and also infrequent uses in equipment assembly, disassembly, machining, fabrication, rebuilds, installation, adjustment, modifications, alignment, cutting, welding, pipefitting and misc. Other tasks include the overall maintenance of equipment and buildings.
