Senior Java Developer

Role : Senior Java DeveloperLocation : Scottsdale, AZ (100% Onsite)JD : We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in building and deploying enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Framework, and modern big data and container technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cloudera, Apache Kafka, and on-premises EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) for container orchestration. Must have : Java, AWS Spring, REST, Cloudera, Apache Kafka, and on-premises EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service)Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java and Spring Framework. Work with Cloudera ecosystem for big data processing and management. Implement and manage Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming and messaging. Deploy and manage containerized applications on on-premises EKS clusters. Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines for containerized workloads. Optimize application performance and scalability in distributed environments. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application, data pipelines, and container orchestration. Ensure security, compliance, and best practices across all deployments. Required Skills & Qualifications: 8-12 years of experience in enterprise application development. Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Framework (Spring Boot preferred). Hands-on experience with Cloudera and big data technologies. Expertise in Apache Kafka for event-driven architecture and data streaming. Experience with on-premises EKS or Kubernetes-based container orchestration. Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and microservices architecture. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in distributed systems. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to cloud-native technologies and hybrid deployments. Knowledge of security best practices for containerized environments. Familiarity with monitoring tools and performance tuning for large-scale systems.
