This role focuses on safe vehicle operation, route efficiency, and professional customer interaction. The CDL B Driver with Airbrakes will be responsible for operating refuse collection vehicles, completing daily routes, and ensuring compliance with all DOT and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities • Operate rear-load, side-load, or front-load garbage trucks equipped with airbrakes• Follow assigned routes and collection schedules• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle and equipment inspections• Safely load and unload waste and recyclable materials• Communicate effectively with dispatch and route supervisors• Maintain accurate records for mileage, fuel usage, and pickups• Adhere to all local, state, and federal DOT regulations• Provide courteous service and report service-related issues• Assist with basic truck cleanliness and minor maintenance tasks Required Qualifications • Minimum 1 year of CDL B driving experience (insurance requirement)• Valid CDL Class B license with Airbrake endorsement• Clean driving record and ability to pass a DOT drug screen• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions• Strong attention to safety and detail• Excellent time management and communication skills This is a great opportunity for a dependable professional looking for steady hours and long-term potential in a CDL B Driver with Airbrakes role.
