You'll work under physician protocol to assess arrhythmias, document findings, and respond to urgent clinical needs—while supporting patients through education and care coordination.This is a high-autonomy role that combines clinical precision, technical proficiency, and compassionate patient interaction. You'll play an active role in shaping outcomes and improving lives through device-based cardiac therapy.Day-to-Day Responsibilities Prepare patients for device interrogations; provide education and informed consentPerform comprehensive device evaluations, including rhythm analysis, threshold testing, and programming under protocolOperate industry-standard device programmers and troubleshoot as neededManage software and home monitoring systems for device tracking and alertsDocument visit summaries, clinical findings, and interventions in the EMRRespond to emergency device evaluations and support the device on-call rotationEnsure accurate billing, coding, and documentation for compliance and reimbursement What You'll Need to SucceedMinimum Qualifications: 1+ year of experience in cardiac services (monitor tech, telemetry, electrophysiology, cardiovascular tech, or device tech)2+ years of hands-on experience with cardiac pacing, rhythm analysis, or EP device managementOR 5+ years of device monitoring experienceAdvanced knowledge of cardiac rhythms, arrhythmias, and device functionsStrong interpersonal skills for patient communication and team collaboration Preferred Qualifications: Vendor experience with device interrogation and programming platformsPrior experience floating between cardiology clinics or working in multiple practice settingsExperience supporting remote home monitoring workflows Certifications: Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS) highly preferredCCDS must be obtained within 2 years of hire if not already certified Work EnvironmentThis is a fully in-office position based at our Puyallup location, with frequent travel to DHEC (Tacoma) and satellite clinics in Olympia, Auburn, and Silverdale. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
