Pharmacy Program Manager - Medication Safety Location: Portland, OR Employment Type: Full-Time We are seeking an experienced Program Manager, Medication Safety to lead and coordinate medication safety initiatives within a hospital and healthcare system setting. This role partners with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement strategies that reduce medication errors and improve patient outcomes through strong system design and safety practices. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee all medication safety activities across the organization Review medication-related safety events and adverse drug reaction reports Identify opportunities for system improvements and risk reduction Develop and implement interdisciplinary error-prevention strategies Provide education and support to clinical staff on medication safety best practices Collaborate with pharmacy leadership, physicians, nursing, and quality teams Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy or Master's Degree in Pharmacy PharmD preferred Active Oregon Pharmacist License upon hire Minimum 3 years of hospital pharmacy experience or equivalent residency experience Strong knowledge of medication safety and regulatory standards Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: $170,553 - $245,073 (based on experience) Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement plan, paid time off, and wellness resources
