Snapshot / Role Overview We're seeking a Vice President in Newark, NJ to lead large-scale commercial healthcare construction operations and drive business growth in the region. Impact Oversee multi-million dollar healthcare construction portfolios ensuring on-time, on-budget project delivery Drive regional growth by developing strategic client relationships and capturing new healthcare construction opportunities Build high-performing project teams through leadership, mentoring, and talent development Ensure operational excellence across complex healthcare projects including hospitals and medical facilities Responsibilities Lead regional operations for healthcare construction including mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC projects Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets Cultivate relationships with healthcare systems, design firms, and general contractors Oversee project execution including budgets, schedules, quality, and safety performance Recruit, develop, and retain top talent including project managers and field supervision Review contracts, negotiate terms, and approve project budgets and change orders Ensure compliance with healthcare construction standards and regulatory requirements Represent the company at industry events and maintain an active professional network Requirements Must-Haves 15+ years of experience in commercial mechanical construction 5+ years of leadership experience managing large construction operations Proven track record of delivering healthcare construction projects valued at $20M+ Strong financial acumen including P&L management and strategic planning Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field Excellent business development and client relationship skills Nice-to-Haves PE license or other professional certifications Experience with design-build and IPD project delivery methods MBA or advanced degree in business or engineering Compensation & Logistics Competitive salary depending on experience; benefits include health insurance, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, holidays, company vehicle, and executive compensation package.
