NAM ISC Finance Leader

Job Overview Search Solution Group is seeking a NAM ISC Finance Leader on behalf of our client, a manufacturer of residential swimming pool equipment. This role serves as a strategic financial business partner supporting the North America segment and Global Operations team. The position is responsible for leading a team of finance professionals, and driving financial optimization, transformation, and sustainable cost improvements across manufacturing and supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities Lead long-range financial planning, annual budgeting, and forecasting aligned with business objectives and strategic initiatives Develop financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, transformation initiatives, cost-saving programs, and capital expenditures Partner with operations to optimize cost structures, improve margins, enhance productivity, and reduce inventory levels Design and implement KPIs and dashboards to monitor plant performance, inventory management, and project execution Collaborate with cross-functional leaders across production, engineering, supply chain, quality, and logistics to drive strategic initiatives Provide data-driven recommendations supporting decisions related to make vs. buy, insource vs. outsource, expansion vs. consolidation, and product development Monitor and analyze production costs, variances, and profitability metrics, ensuring adherence to budgetary targets Oversee inventory valuation for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods, including reconciliation and obsolescence analysis Drive working capital optimization initiatives, including inventory aging and extended payment terms Ensure strong internal controls, compliance with financial policies, and effective risk management practices Coordinate internal and external audits and implement corrective actions to address findings Lead, coach, and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration Requirements Education Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred Experience 15+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally within manufacturing environments 8+ years in an operational finance leadership role or as a multi-site controller preferred Proven experience partnering with operations and supply chain leadership Skills Strategic financial planning and forecasting Financial modeling and advanced data analysis Cost accounting and operational finance expertise Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities Critical thinking and complex problem-solving capabilities Certifications CPA or CMA preferred Knowledge Manufacturing operations and cost structures Inventory and working capital management Six Sigma and process improvement methodologies ERP and financial systems; experience with D365 preferred Internal controls, compliance, and audit processes Key Competencies Strategic and analytical mindset Results-driven with a focus on operational excellence Strong business partnering and influencing skills Ability to lead transformation and manage change High sense of urgency with the ability to manage complexity Self-starter with a proactive, collaborative work ethic Ability to independently drive initiatives and assume leadership in critical situations How to Apply To apply for this position, please click the "Apply" button at the top right of your screen.
