Technicians Pay Rate: $30-$45/hr (DOE) Employment Type: Contract Est. Duration: 6-24 months Schedule: Monday-Friday (varies by shift and site) Locations: Newton, Wilmington, Hickory, Concord, and Midland, NC Tekberry is seeking skilled technicians and hands-on specialists to support upcoming equipment installation, maintenance, and production support projects across our client's North Carolina sites. These positions are ideal for candidates with strong mechanical, electrical, or automation experience who thrive in high-tech manufacturing environments. Typical Roles Mechanical Technician II-III Electrical Technician II-III Controls / Automation Technician Maintenance Technician Equipment Installer Key Responsibilities Assemble, install, and maintain manufacturing and automation equipment. Perform troubleshooting, testing, and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment diagrams. Assist engineers with commissioning and process validation activities. Follow all safety protocols and maintain accurate maintenance records. Qualifications Associate degree, trade certification, or equivalent experience in mechanical/electrical fields. 2-6 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Skilled in using hand tools, measurement devices, and diagnostic equipment. Experience with PLCs, sensors, pneumatics, or robotic systems a plus. Strong safety awareness, teamwork, and communication skills. Preferred Familiarity with industrial automation systems and machine integration. Ability to support multiple shifts and project sites as needed. Previous experience with Corning, Moog, or other precision manufacturing environments. Tekberry Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
