About the Job Licensed Therapist / Psychologist (Scottsdale, Arizona)Lighthouse PsychiatryLocation: 15300 North 90th St Ste 750, Scottsdale, AZ 85260 Job Type: Full-time, In-Person / Telehealth (Hybrid) Pay: $62,000 - 85,000 (depending on clinical & research experience, certification, familiarity working with psychiatry) About Lighthouse Psychiatry: Lighthouse Psychiatry is a modern, patient-centered mental health practice delivering evidence-based psychiatric and psychotherapeutic care across Arizona. We integrate psychotherapy with advanced interventional services-including TMS, ketamine-based treatments, and medication management-while maintaining a strong emphasis on clinical quality, collaboration, and outcomes. We also conduct psychedelic clinical research focused on novel treatments. Our mission is to provide clarity, stability, and meaningful improvement for patients navigating complex mental health conditions. Position Overview: We are seeking Arizona-licensed Therapists and/or Psychologists to join our growing clinical team. This role involves providing high-quality psychotherapy services to adolescents, teens, and adults within a collaborative, multidisciplinary, integrative mental health environment. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, ethically grounded, and comfortable working alongside other therapists/psychologists, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and interventional psychiatry teams. Experience with higher-acuity or treatment-resistant populations is preferred. If applicable, clinical supervision is available for Associate Therapist candidates. Key Responsibilities:Provide individual psychotherapy (and group therapy if applicable) using evidence-based modalities Conduct clinical assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing progress documentation Collaborate with psychiatric providers regarding medication management, TMS, ketamine-assisted treatment, and psychedelic-assisted treatment plans Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation within the EHR Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and care coordination Uphold ethical, legal, and professional standards consistent with Arizona regulations and licensing boards Educate patients on treatment approaches, goals, and expectations Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times Required Qualifications:Active Arizona license in good standing in one of the following: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor (LISAC) Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) Licensed Master's in Social Work (LMSW) Licensed Associate Marriage & Family Therapist (LAMFT) Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited program Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills Excellent documentation and communication abilities Comfort working in a collaborative, psychiatry-integrated environment. Experience treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, PTSD, or treatment-resistant depression Strong clinical skills using CBT, ACT, DBT, trauma-informed care, or psychodynamic approaches Preferred Qualifications:Training in EMDR, ART, CMI, NARM, Somatic Therapy, and/or IFS is highly recommended Prior work in outpatient psychiatry or behavioral health settings Exposure to interventional psychiatry (TMS, ketamine, esketamine, psychedelics) Arizona Compliance & Regulatory Requirements: To comply with Arizona state law and healthcare employment standards, employment is contingent upon meeting the following requirements: Background Check: Successful completion of a criminal background check in accordance with Arizona law. Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card: Must possess or be eligible to obtain an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (standard or Level I, as required by role and setting). Candidates without an active card must be willing to apply for and obtain clearance prior to the start date or within the onboarding period, per Arizona Department of Public Safety requirements. Continued employment is contingent upon maintaining fingerprint clearance eligibility. HIPAA & Confidentiality: Required to comply with HIPAA, Arizona privacy laws, and Lighthouse Psychiatry policies regarding protected health information (PHI). Mandatory Reporting & Ethical Standards Must comply with Arizona mandatory reporting laws, scope-of-practice requirements, and professional ethical standards.
