Engineer II

Working with Grid Management and helping in managing IVVC LVM (Load Var Management) project. Working on SCADA system and interface this system with DMS (Distributed Management System) and GIS system. Performing validation of utility GIS and DMS model of substations, circuits, conductors, switches, meters and automated line devices by comparing with existing field conditions. Performing power flow analysis on circuits for Volt Var Optimization to make sure models looks good. Monitoring the stations once LVM is enabled to make sure plans and voltages are within our constraints. Working on various powerflow issues such as voltage mismatch, Watt/Var convergence issues, modelling issues and helped in solving them. Working with the ADMS Modelling and Analytics team in modelling and mapping various devices such as Capacitor banks, Reclosers, Voltage Regulators, Line relay points in Distribution SCADA system. Verifying single-line and three line drawings. Calculating substation transformer impedance using nameplate data. Working on powerflow analysis for PV integration(DER) into the grid. Working knowledge of self-Healing and FISR. This position requires a master's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
