OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT (OTA)Full- Time, Part-Time, and PRN positions availableLocation: Gaffney, SC Facilities: Peachtree Centre • Join Our Team! About the Facility Peachtree Centre is a 151-bed skilled nursing facility with 40 short-term rehab beds. Offers comprehensive short- and long-term rehabilitation and outpatient services Features a state-of-the-art rehab gym with community reintegration to help residents achieve their highest level of function • About the Location - Gaffney, SC Located just 40 minutes from Charlotte, NC, and 30 minutes from Spartanburg, SC, Gaffney is a welcoming small town known for its Southern charm, affordable living, and strong sense of community. With lots of local festivals, parks, and historic sites, it's a great place to work, live, and build a rewarding therapy career. ⚙ Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy treatments to residents according to the occupational therapist's treatment plans Observe, record, and report conditions, reactions, and responses related to assigned duties Maintain daily treatment records and document progress notes as directed Assist the therapist in consulting with family members, physicians, and other healthcare professionals Assist with the care of the occupational therapy department and equipment Assist with in-service programs and other meetings as assigned Access continuing education opportunities appropriate to the discipline and responsibilities Act in compliance with Ahava Therapy Services' regulatory and professional standards Attend and participate in rehabilitation team conferences and other facility meetings Adhere to company and facility policies and participate in quality improvement and safety programs Perform other duties as assigned Understand reimbursement by various payers and allocate therapy resources efficiently Demonstrate knowledge of OBRA regulations, HIPAA, Local Coverage Determination, and third-party reimbursement guidelines.
