This role will contribute to the development, integration, and analysis of complex system-of-systems architectures supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) mission. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and implementing simulation frameworks, modeling advanced threat systems, and supporting system-level trade studies within a high-security environment. This role sits within the same technical domain as systems engineering but leans more heavily into software development, algorithm implementation, and analytical modeling. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain modeling and simulation software supporting missile defense applications. Develop algorithms and analytical tools to model ballistic, hypersonic, aero-maneuvering, and advanced threat systems. Support system-level trade studies and performance analysis within an MBSE environment. Contribute to functional and behavioral modeling of missile defense architectures. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate simulation outputs into system requirements development. Support Change Notices (CNs) and updates to system specifications, including performance, interface, and functional requirements. Develop technical documentation, reports, and briefings for internal and MDA stakeholder reviews. Validate and verify models through simulation testing and performance analysis. Support traceability from system-level requirements to element-level implementation. Required Qualifications Active TS/SCI clearance.
