Title: Regional Controller Address: York, PA 17402 Schedule: Fully Onsite, M-F 8a-5p Salary: $145,000 - $165,000 Bonus: 12% annual bonus (based on personal, divisional, and global performance; paid April of the following year) Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 401k match (4% after 1 year), 3 weeks PTO, 9 Paid Holidays, 2 Personal Days, etc. Department: Finance Why You Should Apply: This is an opportunity to join a global industrial packaging and manufacturing company that supports essential supply chains across metals and plastics. This Regional Controller role is a backfill due to a long-tenured retirement and offers strong stability, visibility, and ownership across multiple manufacturing sites. You'll be based onsite at a high-profile, complex plant while overseeing financial operations across 3-4 facilities. This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys plant finance, cost accounting, and partnering closely with operations leadership. The position offers strong autonomy, competitive compensation, and multiple potential long-term growth paths within a large, established organization. What You'll Be Doing: Oversee financial operations and performance across 3-4 manufacturing plants (metals and plastics). Lead plant analysis, month-end close, and variance reporting across assigned sites. Partner closely with plant leadership to identify cost reduction opportunities and operational improvements. Analyze standard vs. actual costs and provide insights into profitability and manufacturing performance. Maintain and periodically update standard costing models and support forecasting and budgeting. Manage general accounting functions including GL, inventory, cost accounting, and fixed assets. Deliver timely, accurate plant-level financial reporting and internal analysis. Support audits and maintain strong internal controls. Drive process improvements and standardization across plants. Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance leadership, and corporate teams. Travel quarterly to supported plants (manageable travel cadence). What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree (Accounting or related field ) required; CPA a plus but not required. Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong manufacturing experience (required), ideally within packaging, metals, plastics, or industrial environments. Solid cost accounting and standard costing expertise. Experience with variance analysis, plant finance, and operational partnership. Understanding of GAAP and internal controls. Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred). Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders. Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable operating in a multi-site environment. Advanced Excel skills.
