Heavy Truck General Mechanic-Night Shift

Trans-Phos, Inc., is looking for a skilled General Repair Mechanic to support our Night Shift operations. This role involves maintaining and repairing heavy trucks and trailers at our terminal. We offer competitive weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a team-focused work environment.Position Details: Location: Central Florida Shift: Night Schedule: 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts | Overtime & weekends as needed Expected Hours: 45 - 50 per week Key Responsibilities: Perform scheduled maintenance and general repairs, including tire changes, brake system repairs, steering and suspension work, and diesel engine servicing. Diagnose and address minor mechanical issues, replacing parts such as lights, mud flaps, belts, hoses, and filters under the direction of the Fleet Manager. Maintain terminal grounds, ensuring a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Assist in roadside cleanup efforts and other maintenance tasks as needed. Conduct routine oil changes, lubrication, and inspections to ensure fleet reliability. Report potential mechanical failures or safety concerns to management promptly. Support special projects and additional tasks assigned by the Fleet Manager or Operations Team.
