Senior Observability Engineer & Senior Architect Location: - Fort Mill, SC Type: Contract Job Description 10+ years of experience in software engineering with Observability exp. History of implementing end-to-end observability architecture Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management Comprehensive CI/CD Proficiency: Strong understanding of Continuous CI/CD practices, with robust knowledge of Git, GitHub Actions and GitHub Workflows. Familiarity with observability tools (e.g., metrics, logging, and tracing platforms). Assess current SRE solution and define the SRE approach for products. Should have strong exp. with tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, and Elastic Stack for real-time monitoring and troubleshooting. Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert). - preferred to have Extensive experience in assessing SRE, DevOps, Observability maturity state forwith ability to define maturity improvement roadmap. Extensive experience in defining & implementing SRE, DevOps, Observability strategies for 3 or more large scale projects. Experience of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure or GCP. Deep expertise in Time Series Databases configurations & implementation on AWS cloud. Experience of scale observability projects as architect in designing, implementation & cloud deployment of observability on containerized (Azure AKS or AWS EKS) applications using NewRelic, Splunk and Grafana Stack or open source Grafana and Prometheus products / tools. Deep expertise in designing & implementing of end - to - end distributed tracing using several Daemon sets / agents and telemetry gathering patterns. 3+ years in a Monitoring & Observability automation using NewRelic, Splunk and Grafana Stack including Prometheus based alerting.
