Low Voltage Installer / Technician

Compensation: $25 - $38 per hour (depending on experience) Higher pay for lead technicians and gate system experience About Max Security USA: Max Security USA is a leading provider of integrated security solutions serving commercial properties, residential communities, HOAs, and industrial facilities. We specialize in video surveillance, access control, remote guarding, and perimeter security systems. Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Installer / Technician to install, service, and support camera systems, access control, and gate systems. This position is ideal for a technician who values clean workmanship, system reliability, and professionalism. Key Responsibilities: • Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot IP and analog camera systems (NVR/DVR) • Install and service access control systems including card readers, keypads, maglocks, and strikes • Install and service vehicle and pedestrian gate systems and operators • Pull, label, terminate, and dress low-voltage cabling (Cat5e/Cat6, coax) • Mount cameras, panels, readers, and control equipment • Configure and commission systems for proper operation • Read and interpret wiring diagrams and site plans • Perform service calls and system upgrades • Communicate professionally with property managers and clients • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site • Complete work orders and service documentation Required Qualifications: • 2+ years experience in low-voltage security installations • Hands-on experience with cameras, access control, and gate systems • Strong understanding of low-voltage wiring and terminations • Ability to troubleshoot system issues in the field • Valid driver's license and clean driving record • Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and outdoors • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with HOAs, commercial, or industrial properties • Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, PoE switches) • Manufacturer experience (Axis, Hikvision, HID, etc.) • OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 • Customer-facing service experience What We Offer: • $28-$38 per hour based on experience • Steady, year-round work • Overtime opportunities • Company vehicle for qualified technicians • Tools and equipment provided • Growth and advancement opportunities • Professional, team-oriented work environment
