Controller (On-Site) Location: York County, PA Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | On-Site Compensation: $90,000-$100,000 (based on experience) Employment Type: Direct Hire About the Role We are seeking a hands-on Controller to join a growing, privately held company located in York County, PA. This role will take ownership of daily accounting operations while helping bring structure, consistency, and strong financial controls to the organization. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who prefers working in a smaller team environment and staying close to the work rather than operating as a high-level overseer only. Responsibilities Own the general ledger and monthly close process Oversee A/P, A/R, payroll, and bookkeeping functions Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations Monitor cash flow and daily bank activity Ensure accurate financial reporting and clean balance sheet accounts Establish and maintain accounting processes and internal controls Oversee invoicing, A/R aging, and collections efforts Coordinate with external CPAs, auditors, and tax advisors Mentor and support a small corporate accounting team Qualifications 7+ years of progressive accounting experience Prior Controller experience or strong Accounting Manager / Senior Accountant background Experience in a small to mid-size company environment Strong GAAP knowledge and attention to detail Comfortable being hands-on and stepping in as needed Professional, collaborative leadership style Preferred Experience Experience supervising accounting or finance staff Compensation & Benefits $90,000-$100,000 base salary (depending on experience) Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO, and paid holidays On-site role with direct interaction with ownership If interested then apply to our position today!
