Job specification Candidate requirements Job specification • Lead the Cath Lab nursing unit and manage over 80 FTEs on a 24-hour basis, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality care. • Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and promote excellence in cardiac procedures and interventions. • Oversee scheduling, staffing, and performance evaluations to optimize team productivity and professional development. • Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable standards, including Joint Commission, CMS, state regulations, and hospital policies. • Develop and implement operational goals, policies, and protocols to improve patient outcomes, staff engagement, and overall workflow. • Lead quality improvement initiatives and analyze data to identify performance trends, service gaps, and opportunities for improvement. • Maintain budgetary oversight, resource allocation, and financial accountability for the Cath Lab unit. • Serve as a mentor and role model for nursing staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning, clinical excellence, and professional growth. Candidate requirements Required: • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution • Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License - Required upon hire • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - American Heart Association, upon hire • California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization, within 30 days of hire • NNR Certification for employees in L&D, NICU, Nursery, or Postpartum - Within 90 to 180 days depending on area • Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical experience, preferably in cardiovascular or critical care environments Preferred Qualifications: • Prior leadership or management experience in a Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, or Cardiac Care Unit • Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field • Experience managing high-volume units with 24-hour responsibility • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification Why work with us?
