Job Description Davidson College is hiring Community Museum Assistants to help welcome visitors, support programs, and help tell the story of Davidson's history at Oak Row that is next to the "With These Hands" Memorial. Members of descendant communities are especially encouraged to apply. What You'll Do Welcome and assist museum visitors Help monitor exhibits and maintain a safe, welcoming space Support public programs and community events Assist with basic collections and archival tasks (training provided) Help with light administrative duties Who We're Looking For Community members with an interest in local history and storytelling Friendly, dependable, and comfortable working with the public Able to work independently with guidance Experience in customer service or community work is a plus Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Information about how to submit an application can be found at Us Davidson is a highly selective, nationally ranked, residential liberal arts college located in Davidson, North Carolina, near Charlotte.
