The successful candidate will develop and sustain machining processes utilizing cutting-edge machine tools such as Swiss Style Lathes, Single and Multi-Turret Lathes, and 3 to 5 axis Milling centers. Machinist (Swing) Responsibilities:Work closely with R&D on microwave applications, influence designs for mechanical components and assemblies, ensure design for manufacturability, facilitate release, and support production. Interface with Engineering, Maintenance, and Management as well as production/NPI Schedulers. Machinist (Swing) Qualifications:A 2-year certification from JC. or a Journeyman Machinist certification is preferred. Must have the willingness to learn. Strong teamwork, positive attitude, dedication, and job flexibility. Experience with any/all of the following is desired:3 to 5 axis MillingSwiss Style LathesMill/Turn Machine CenterAdvanced MetrologyCNC Programming/CAM Programming SoftwareCAD/Solid ModelingTool GrindingInterpreting specifications, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Shift:Swing: 2 pm - 10:30 pm.
