Occupational Therapist Job Details Location: Los Angeles, CA 90034 (West LA) Healthcare Setting: Hospital Outpatient Hand Therapy Clinic Position: Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) - Hand Therapy Start Date: November 17, 2025 End Date: February 13, 2026 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Shift: 8-hour day shifts (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM) Schedule: Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,150 - $2,310 Occupational Therapist Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent hand therapy experience (Certified Hand Therapist/CHT preferred) Outpatient occupational therapy experience required Strong skills in dynamic splint fabrication highly preferred Active California Occupational Therapist (OT) license BLS certification from the American Heart Association At least 1 year of professional experience as an Occupational Therapist Key Responsibilities Provide specialized hand therapy and rehabilitation services to outpatient clients, focusing on post-surgical and orthopedic hand cases Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment programs Fabricate dynamic splints and custom orthotic devices as needed Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes Maintain accurate clinical documentation and monitor patient progress Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, home care, and injury prevention strategies Apply now to join our Los Angeles healthcare team as a Travel Occupational Therapist specializing in hand therapy.
