Why Technicians Love Working With Us Company-supplied van with fuel card - take it home daily Office team that handles phone calls, scheduling, estimates, and customer communication Steady workflow - no sitting around waiting for jobs Company iPad + ServiceTitan to keep jobs organized Uniforms provided Limited late nights - we respect work-life balance Overtime and weekend opportunities Commercial and residential work Clear opportunities for promotion as we expand What You'll Do Complete small-to-medium maintenance and repairs in homes and commercial buildings (Typical job lengths: 2 hours-2 days) Communicate clearly with customers about scope and cost Recommend additional needed repairs when appropriate Follow the Mr. Handyman Way to build repeat clients Document work, collect payment, and request reviews How Your Performance Is Measured Customer Satisfaction (NPS + Reviews) Revenue & Efficiency Billing accuracy and proper job documentation Quality of work / Low recall rate What We're Looking For At least 5-8 years of paid experience in residential/commercial repair Strong skills in at least 3 areas: Carpentry Drywall repair Painting Flooring Bathroom/kitchen repairs Light plumbing or electrical (where legal) General home improvements Own your basic tools Clean, professional appearance Able to self-manage day-to-day without micromanagement Comfortable with technology and using a tablet Able to lift 50 lbs., work overhead, and work at heights when needed Insurable driving record, background check required Must live within our service area Compensation We pay hourly + commission, paid weekly. $16/hour base wage 12-14% tiered commission on weekly revenue above $5,000 Overtime and weekend opportunities available This structure rewards technicians who deliver great work, stay efficient, and take care of customers.
