Initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures and operate respiratory equipment. Perform pulmonary diagnostics and arterial blood gas analysis. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinical standards. Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver exceptional care. Qualifications Education & Training: Associate degree from an accredited Respiratory Care program (Certificate accepted if licensed before Dec 31, 2008) Licensure & Certification: NBRC Certification Florida Respiratory Care License (renewed bi-annually) Current BLS certification Advanced Life Support certification (as required by unit/site) Preferred: Membership in AARC and FSRC Experience: No prior experience required - new grads welcome! Skills: Competency in respiratory therapeutics and ventilator management Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
